Our History
Like many technology companies started during the personal computer boom, Deltec began helping customers in 1990 by building and fixing PCs for people and organizations. As the need for computer networking continued to grow, a focus on small and medium-sized business computer networks and systems quickly became Deltec’s service focus. Further growth presented opportunities to assist clients with the implementation of our technology for proactive management and support. In 2001, Deltec became a Microsoft Certified Partner, and has maintained that certification ever since.
In 2008, new owners helped spur a growth phase for Deltec as Muncie businessmen Wil Davis and Don Engel joined founder Scott Jordan as owners in efforts to expand Deltec’s client base and bring Deltec’s expertise and client-service orientation to clients outside of Delaware County. Today, Deltec’s client footprint extends beyond its Delaware County roots and includes businesses and organizations throughout the Midwest.
Current service lines include Cloud Strategy consulting, Managed IT services, Business Continuity, Cybersecurity and Training, and Strategic IT Consulting and Planning.
One constant throughout the ever-changing needs of clients in the technology space is Deltec’s commitment to its community.
