Nearly 700 Million Devices Now Run Windows 10

Muncie, Ind. – Microsoft began hosting its annual Build developer conference earlier this week. Highlights of the conference include a revisit of the latest Windows 10 version release, upcoming product specs, and an announcement of Windows latest user base. As of now, Windows 10 is actively installed on nearly 700 million devices.
This benchmark is almost 200 million higher than numbers posted this time last year. And while Microsoft’s original goal in 2015 was to boast a billion devices by 2018, this shows considerable growth. Microsoft did not comment on the growth of Office 365 or other subscription-based products. However, the Windows 10 environment and Microsoft’s accessory products are most likely related to one another.
