Muncie, Ind. – Scott Jordan, Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Deltec Solutions, presented to the Human Resources Professional Interest Section of the Indiana Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (INARF) yesterday. “Technology Security: Increasing Organizational Awareness” was presented to attenders both in person and via live stream. Scott talked about the importance of strong IT policies and security awareness training in risk management and the technology security threat landscape. He also provided INARF members with a brief overview of technologies designed to react to or contain threats, lack of technology to eliminate the threat of the human mistakes, types of attacks designed to take advantage of the human factor, and systems and tools designed to help train employees to avoid introducing all types of malware into the organization.
