Windows 10 Update Delayed
– a press release
“The fourth feature update to Windows 10 is scheduled to arrive October 17, weeks later than originally scheduled.”
For Immediate Release – September 05, 2017
Muncie, Ind. – The fourth feature update to Windows 10 is scheduled to arrive October 17, weeks later than originally scheduled. Packed with new features and support listings, this update has been titled as the Fall Creators Update.
When Microsoft announced the Fall Creators Update at its Build developer conference earlier this year, some of the more hyped features included an updated Microsoft Graph, enabling users to move between different machines seamlessly, and Windows Story Remix, an application with lots of advanced 2D and 3D features for building video and photo stories. Users can expect early implementations of these items with more robust features still to come in further updates. Additionally, updated users will also enjoy an overhauled OneDrive application, which now allows you to easily access your cloud files even if they are not on your local storage.
Another key feature of this update is Microsoft’s long-awaited support for “Mixed Reality” headsets — a term known outside of the Microsoft bubble as augmented or virtual reality devices. The Fall Creators update has built-in hardware support for these peripherals and other alternative input methods, such as Microsoft’s own brand of stylus from the Surface line.
